L’audition décrite sous l’angle des neurosciences. Pourquoi? Simplement parce qu’entendre n’est pas « comprendre ». L’intelligibilité de la parole fait intervenir une sommes de mécanismes complexes dont nous n’avons pas forcément conscience, et c’est l’occasion d’en parler.
Le néophyte pense que la structure de l’oreille (externe, moyenne et interne) est la seule permettant d’entendre et de comprendre.
Mais après quelques explications, nous finissons par comprendre que comme l’ensemble de notre corps, nos oreilles sont des capteurs d’informations, dont le cerveau est le décodeur, le donneur de sens. Sans jeux de mot déplacé, nous pouvons dire que le cerveau est dans tous ses sens: sens directionnel, sens définissant l’information complexe d’un ensemble de signaux, sens émotionnel et sens de « sensation corporelle ».
